Is it THAT hard to find a roommate!?
So far...Lied about credit...asked to be naked....and wanted to know if her 4 dogs were ok. I said "Yeah, since I specifically said NO pets...go ahead and bring all FOUR..to an APARTMENT!?!?!
Other then that I've officially gotten my placement for student teaching. It's close to my house and I won't have to buy a parking pass for next semester.
4 more days for the apartment!! I'll take pictures as soon as I get the keys! :)

So, is this your first place on your own?
The room-mate thing can be more of an issue than it's worth. Even if you find someone you think you can trust, you have no way of patrolling their friends. I always ruled out a roomie because I just couldn't deal with their "potenial" guests. Maybe you'd be better off to get a second job and swing the place on your own.
I had some loser roommates in my time! LOL
I decided long ago that I'd rather live alone and almost broke than live with crazy people. And I know I might get some dirty looks for this but - women are the craziest of all!

Hey! This is woodenpurse... from a million years ago. I've been reading your journal for about a year without commenting but had to do it this time. I'm going through the exact same problems in finding roomates. We should do a post about the pros and cons of living with a roomate. And then swap. Or just bitch about it. whatever :) School is still crazy and i still love your blog.
I agree with flip flop women room mates usually cause more issues then men. I don't know HG, I hope you find someone that is at least semi-normal and not a jork. I think you should put that in the ad like ben suggested! LOL
