**CRASH**
Purse contents scatters....
Fall to knees under heavy contents of stupid backpack....
Can't pull myself up! lol
Two guys (horrifyingly..is that a word!?) assist me with standing...while some other poor guy shuffles the contents of my purse back together.
AWFUL!
In my defense:
My backpack weighs 27lbs! AND THIS IS A SKINNY SCALE that weighs LESS then the dr's WRONG scale. :)
Tis the reason for my fall and my yummy back spasms I presume.

Some of the most beloved females I know can barley navigate a single flight of stairs without crashing down.
Must be a sign of inward grace and impeccable character.
maybe you should start using a fanny pack :)
That is one heavy backpack!!!! What do you have in it?
wow, that is a heavy bag! My 2 year old weighs only slightly more than that and I can barely lift her let alone carry her about all day or whatever.
Here via Micheles today! This is the first time I have been to your blog... I love visiting new (to me) blogs!
Take Care
You are way too young for this sort of thing. Take it easy with the backpack, ok? :)
seriously, 27 lbs is bad for your back. you might end up having osteoporosis in the end. try getting a locker if you dont have one yet.
that was also my problem back in college. good thing that now I am a grad student, i have my own office, and i can simply stack all the books i need on my shelves.
I am sorry but when i first looked at the picture of the scales I thought YOU weighed 270 lbs. Been packing away one too many bags of chips there, Missy.
27 lbs????!!!! What are you... a sherpa?
I once fell... that's funny....
Well no wonder....
I've been there, falling down - in fact, I still do. And, I once had ONE book that weighed 27lbs.
Just popping back in....I have a new blog now...long story....pop in sometime.
Come back HG? :-)
We need a new post from you!
WOW! what in the world do you have in there ..lol
I hope you are ok after that pride and all .... :)
no good can come from that.
So uhm.....how's the back? We need an update.
as a fellow student..and a non-traditional, um older student, you have my sympathy. Yesterday while I was leaving work with my shoulder bag, I made the comment that I felt as if I was going to throw my back out. Gotta love those textbooks. (Not to mention all the other crap you have to carry)
