School starts in a few weeks and I'm trying to get ready for it. Hopefully I'll still have time to blog....(I'm sure I'll blog from class 'cause that's the type of student that I am. Quiet, in the back, taking notes, and playing on line at the same time. )
I'm EASILY distracted. :) But work better when I'm multi-tasking!! Anyways...I worked on a few posts today but didn't finish any of them.
I do have a quick question.
How much does age matter?
There are several couples that i know that have a large age gap. Some 10-12.....some even 20-25! I was just wondering what you all thought was too many years....or if it even matters.

A 10 and 12 year old are WAYYY to young to date. A 20 and 25 year old seems like a perfectly resonable age difference to me. ;-)
Just kidding. I knew what you meant.
I don't think age matters at all. I mean, unless its illegal because one person in the relationship is too young, but other than that, I say anything goes if you are happy.
What are you going to school for?
Like our petite lil' friend from Canada said age doesn't really matter all that much. But I'll add a caveat. It doesn't matter that much after say age 27 or 28. It depends on your maturity level.
The Risks
Young man marries older woman
Older woman begins to wrinkle and become less attractive in younger man's eyes. Younger man dumps her and starts looking for another woman. Being a man I can say with complete confidence. There are not too many that would be easy to live a life time with.
Young lady marries older man.
My parents have quite a gap. They are and have always been happily married but my dear mother has to do everything for my dad who has Parkinson’s disease. It gives new meaning to the two shall become one when every bite he takes is spoon fed him by his wife. Just imagine having to take care of your body and someone else’s body all day every day for the rest of the older man's life.
No matter how you slice it marriage is the hardest thing two people ever attempt. Relying on God to take the responsibility for providing a mate is the bestest thing to do. No desperation, no rash decisions, just good ole obedience to the creator of the institution
Yahoo Beats Google In Size Of Search Index
Yahoo Inc. says its search engine indexes more than 20.8 billion items, which is nearly twice as much as online search leader Google Inc.
I have a long term care health insurance site. Which has lots of great long term care health insurance related information and resources
Come and check it out if you get time :-)
Maybe 10yr difference if anything but young at heart with a mature mind ... should be just fine, the rest is in His hands. No matter how you look at it Aging(looks don't mean much they fade-vain), Biological Clock(many young women have complications-men too!), Infedelity(leaving for someone younger..happens at any age), Illness(in care for other, but who is to say the younger won't suffer accident or fatal illness), Class(for wealth leads only to destruction/greed), Career(status-just a title anyone can accomplish anything they want at any age)I say it is all up to the Lord. Age should not be a factor, give love and respect and receive the same from that person everything should fall into place. But we are part of this superficial world and we tend to forget. Remember we are here for only a borrowed time and why are we here..."The Purpose Driven Life" :)
Hey girl I am with Amelia... :o)
As some others have said already, it depends a lot on the maturity level of the participants. In the best case, each person can learn to see things from a different perspective, and to find out about cultural things from another generation. In the worst case, well, it would be hard to mesh, I would think.
There's a 9-year gap betwixt the wife and meself (she's the older one) -- works okay fer us, anyhoo...
Try to stop blogging when you are in school and you're gonna be in trouble ;-)
You'd better make time for it!
I think as I get older the age thing doesn't bother me as much. As long as both involved are adults. It's when one is underaged that I have problems with it.
My parents have an 8 year gap, one of my brothers is 11 years older than his wife. I think it works (both of those couples say it does!). It's just a matter of being mature enough to be in a marriage...which in and of itself, is pretty hard (but rewarding) work.
I'm with most of you...
I don't think age matters.
However, there is a couple I know that have an extremely large gap...like 20-30 years or something. I'm afraid he won't be around to see his littlest have kids. :(
