To Whom It May Concern:

If there is a server standing over you with a peppermill, LET THEM KNOW IF YOU WANT IT OR NOT. When they say "Would anyone care for fresh cracked pepper?" they mean, "If you want pepper please stop ignoring me and let me know." Contrary to popular belief, we cannot read minds. :) I know, most people are shocked when we tell them.

Bill Hybels, Pastor of Willow Creek church, told of a businessman who would take prospective managers out to lunch for a “final” interview. The candidate was judged on one criterion only: how he or she treated the wait staff. The idea was that if the prospective manager could not thank the waiter or waitress, or if the server was ignored, then that was not a fit candidate to be in charge of a staff.

You would love us! My husband is known for over tipping AND we are very polite! Our kids would want cheese instead of black pepper.
